Red Reef is looking pretty churned up today, definitely not the calm, clear conditions we usually hope for to spot those turtles. With a solid 16.5 mph NE cross-onshore wind pushing in 3-4 ft surf, and nearly an inch of rain yesterday, the nearshore reef is taking a beating. The estimated visibility today is 0-5 ft, which isn't surprising given how much runoff and chop the east-facing shallow reef is dealing with.
