Mauna Kea is showing off its classic clear water today, a real gem on the Kohala Coast. Swell is practically nonexistent, which is always a bonus for this west-facing bay, keeping things calm despite the light WNW onshore breeze. The estimated visibility today is 50-60 ft. While the rising tide isn't ideal for exploring the reef on the bay's ends, especially given its low tide dependency, the lack of recent rain means no runoff worries.
