Lovers Cove is looking fair today, a bit of a mixed bag for our usual garibaldi and kelp hangout. The estimated visibility today is 20-30 ft, which is a bit lower than ideal for spotting all the usual suspects, likely due to the cross-shore WSW wind at nearly 13 mph stirring things up slightly. On the bright side, with minimal recent rainfall, runoff isn't a concern, and the surf remains calm, keeping the protected edges of the cove relatively undisturbed.
