Site Notes

West-facing Gulf beach south of Wiggins Pass. Calmest in summer with light easterly winds. Clearer water around the incoming tide as clean Gulf water replaces murky outflow from the pass; visibility drops on the outgoing tide and after heavy rainfall. Wiggins Pass itself has strong tidal currents — stay south of the inlet.
